About me

An accredited physiotherapist based in Ganshoren, I graduated from ISCAM in 1991. More than thirty years of practice, with children and adults alike, have allowed me to build care that is at once rigorous, caring and attentive to each person.

For me, the patient is the first actor in their own recovery. I take the time to explain each step, to set clear goals and to move forward at the pace that suits you, with respect for your comfort and safety.

Specialized in pediatric physiotherapy, I trained at the ULB (orthopedics, respiratory and neurology) as well as in the Bobath and Le Métayer methods in neuropediatrics. I also treat adults, for all types of conditions, with particular expertise in vestibular rehabilitation (vertigo and balance disorders) and maxillofacial physiotherapy.

Reimbursement & fees for your sessions

In Belgium, your physiotherapy sessions are partly covered by your health insurance fund (mutualité), under the compulsory insurance scheme. Here is what you need to know before your visit.

Good to know

The prescription

A prescription from your doctor (GP or specialist) is required to be eligible for reimbursement of your sessions.

Accredited practitioner

As a practitioner accredited with INAMI, I follow the official rates: you pay no supplement or extra fees whatsoever.

What you pay

Payment is made on site, at the end of the session, at the INAMI rate. Your health insurance fund then reimburses most of the amount, depending on your situation.

Third-party payment — possible on request. It does not apply if you are registered with a community health centre, unless you have their written agreement.

On the day of your appointment

Bring your electronic identity card (eID) and your prescription to the first session: it simplifies all the reimbursement formalities.

What to wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area to be treated. For children, anything they feel comfortable in is fine.

How long does a session last?
Expect around 30 minutes per session. This may be adjusted depending on the reason for the visit and the type of care.
How often to come?
It depends on your situation: often 2 to 3 times a week at first, then sessions are spaced out as you progress. We set the pace together.
Do you treat babies and children?
Yes, pediatric physiotherapy is my specialty: infants, children, and neuropediatric care using the Bobath and Le Métayer methods.
Do you treat vertigo and balance disorders?
Yes, I provide vestibular rehabilitation for vertigo (BPPV), instability and balance disorders.
